We were surprised to see that the sector that can practice sustainability with relative ease is a laggard. The relentless pressure from the buyers and legislations by governments and local pollution control bodies must ease the implementation of sustainability but from the study we can conclude that there is no such response from the manufactures.
This sector needs some strong and visionary leadership.
